Senior Citizen Portraits ...High School Seniors that is....

Dare to be Different. Dare to be BOLD. Be one in 50.

That's right...I said it. Say goodbye to dull, lifeless, cookie-cutter senior pictures. Let your pictures speak for themselves. Show who you REALLY are. WEAR whatever you want. GO wherever you want. BE whatever you want.

Sanae James Photography can make that happen. Be part of my "Senior Citizen" campaign...

I will be shooting 50 senior picture sessions. That't the GOAL. Spread the word.

Here is how it is going to work:

-I am asking all seniors and seniors to be to call and reserve a senior session today.

What's in it for you? Not only will you have an awesome time and AMAZING pictures, but you may be selected to win a $100 gift certificate to a place of your choice!!!

-If you reserve a session with me, you will receive a raffle ticket towards the drawing. ALSO, for every person you refer that books a session with me, you will receive ANOTHER raffle ticket. (BTW...That's more chances to win)

Will you be our LUCKY WINNER?

This drawing will only take place after all 50 sessions are done. So let's get goin'!

Springville High School Girls Basketball

These girls were a lot of fun. I had the chance to take some pictures of them in action, too. They are a bunch of great players and can be pretty goofy to boot. It reminded me of the good 'ol days when I played B-Ball in Highschool. Ah..the memories....My school mascot was the Red Devils, too...Sometimes I wish I could go back so I could ball it up one more time. Anyway, the serious pic is on it's way, but just thought I'd post a funny one just for the girls.

These are the Varsity Girls:

I haven't forgotten you guys....

In case you guys thought I forgot you...just wanted to let you know that I'm still working on your pics. I just got swamped all at one time--it's funny how things work that way. On the days you wish you had more to do, you have nothing, and the days you wish you could relax you end up with a ton of stuff. Thanks for hangin' in there!

The "other" James family...

What I mean by "other" is Mark is my husband's younger brother--so they are the "other" James family... I've been wanting to take some pics of them since I botched their first set of pics when Mason was first born. I needed to redeem myself after those sorry photos! SO yes Andrea...take those old photos off the side of your blog and replace with these new ones!! ha..ha.. It's been nice to have family so close, and it's been great getting to know them better. My husband is the eldest in his family so he was up and out of the house and felt like he really didn't know his siblings much. But now that Mark & Andrea have started their own little family and live only 15 minutes away, we have been able to get together more often and it's been so great. It's times like these that makes you grateful for these family relationships.

Olsen Family

My cousin Minnette asked me to snap some pictures for them since it has been over two years since they took some family pictures. I can't believe how grown up the little ones are getting! Time sure does fly. Especially when I am SO bad at keeping in touch and getting together with everyone. Picture taking was a good excuse to finally get together and hang out. B.T.W. Minnette--I really loved the apricot jam (and I'm normally not a jam person).

Pearson Family

Marci recently moved into my neighborhood and is my newest friend...Love the girl...love her little family. They are the kind of peeps that just make you smile because they are just so chill and layed back. Just the way I like 'em! Thanks so much for asking me to take your sweet family pictures. Danielle is such a doll...even when she was crying! But here are a few of her NOT crying! hee..hee...such a cutie.

McKay

Isn't he such a cutie? I just had to post this pic of him from a recent photo shoot. He loved sitting on that tire. Througout the whole shoot, he never smiled really until he got on that tire. What a CUTIE.

Nicole + Tyler

Nicole is my sister-in law's sister...They have been married for almost two years now I think? It was great to get together to take their pictures--so now we can actually plan to get together for real and play some games or something!!!! These were just fun pics I wanted to post for them. Such a cute couple don't you think?

Ceci+Steven ENGAGEMENTS

Here's a sneak peak for Ceci and Steven! They are engaged to be married on January 31st! Congrats guys! I made you guys smooch a lot, but I know Steven definitely enjoyed that--so all is well!!!:) It's funny how my favorite pics of the day ended up being at the last minute rock wall across the street from where we were shooting...ENJOY these for now...more to come soon!

Asay Family

Aren't they the cutest little family that you ever did see? Beautiful Melissa is originally from El Salvador and Scott is from good 'ol Orem, UT. They have the cutest little boy Cole who was such a good boy in front of the camera. I think he was the first one that actually looked at the camera and never fussed. I love taking pictures of cute families like the Asay's because they are just so natural and fun in front of the camera. It was so fun to watch them play with little Cole and speak Spanish to him. Man...being with them reminded me how much I need to work on the Japanese language skills with my daughters! YIKES!

Hansen/Wall Family

I was so happy when Tawny asked me to take her family pictures for her...Her parents and sister were in town since it is little McKay's 1st Birthday, and we snapped some pictures of everyone while they were visiting. What a lovely family--and it doesn't hurt when you have such an ADORABLE little boy in your picture!!! He was so cute with those BLUE eyes. SO SO CUTE!

Laurel's Bridals

Laurel is like the little sister I never had. Our families basically grew up together, and now she is getting married. We are so excited for her and I'm so glad I was able to be a little part of it by taking her bridals for her! She makes a BEAUTIFUL bride and she is definitely going to take Keith's breath away when he sees her for the first time in her wedding dress.

She and her mom braved it out in the COLD--yes, it snowed today and was NOT really a good day to shoot pictures--no one was out. BUT, I think the pictures turned out good--thanks to Laurel!!!

So this is the one Robbie and I decided we are going to enlarge for Laurel. I think she looks so stunning..beautiful...gorgeous...etc...etc... It took us awhile to finally decide on this one. But this one it is. I hope you like it!!!

I love this picture, too....with the flower in her hair....I wish I wore a flower in my hair for my wedding day. Lots of I wishes.... see what I mean? I had such hard choices picking which ones I liked best....
More to come soon!!!

STUDIO FUN

I decided to have some fun using studio lights. I'm still trying to figure them out to get just the right look. I am still not getting the look I want with them, but I thought I'd post some pictures of my experimentating...:)my new word.
