It was a COLD and WINDY day for pictures. My fellow photographer friend Evelyn took this picture, and I edited...You can tell that Jolie is just freezin her buns off in this one. Not a moment after the other two girls were done...they wanted back in the van. My luck...the day we need to do our photos is one of the coldest and most windy days we've had!!! YIKES! Needless to say, I think we got a few keepers thanks to Ev! Other than the fact that a) I'm totally NOT photogenic, which made me realize how much I like being behind the camera rather than in front of it. 2) I hadn't realized how large and in charge I've gotten...WHA?!?

Thanks Ev for makin' it work with us! You're AWESOME!

My girls | Utah Child Photography

As most of you know by now, I love COLOR. So this is what I came up for my girls. I had to bribe them with McDonalds and candy, which gave me about 30 minutes with them before they wacked out on me...but that gave me enough time to work some pics out of them which I think totally resemble my girlies. I got a couple of big canvases of them so I'm so excited for them to come in.

P.S. On a side note...if you are planning or wanting to have your pics done and want them before the huge holiday rush, the deadline to book your session is before November 21st.

P.P.S. I had a couple of people ask about mini sessions--and as you know I've finished them up...BUT, if I get enough interest, I may be able to open up another day so e-mail me asap if you or a friend are interested...THANKS!

Crystal & Ari Cook | Utah Maternity & Children Photography

Crystal was visiting family from Cali, so while she was here she asked me to photograph her son Ari & her growing belly! We did a few belly shots, but mostly captured candid moments with her and Ari, which I am so in love with. A beautiful mommy with her gorgeous little boy. Next time Daddy will surely have to come--and the new baby of course! Thanks Crystal for asking me to capture this time in your life. You are so beautiful "SNOW WHITE!" :)

Wunder Family | Utah Family Photography

It's a little nerve wracking to photograph other photographer's families, but I must say, it helps me stay focused and on task. We know the Wunders from way back in the BYU days--they are good friends of ours. Evelyn is an amazing and talented photographer--you should check her out here. I hadn't seen them in about a year, so if a photo session gets us together than so be it! ha..ha..Ev will be taking our family photos next week, so you'll have to come back and check our family out.

Future Lehi High School Pionettes!

My girls along with a few other neighborhood girls participated in the annual Lehi High School Pionettes dance clinic. The Paul Mitchell hair school also came and did all of the girlies' hair which was an added treat!
They learned a dance to a Hannah Montana song that they performed during the High School football game half-time show. It was a blast! Just thought I'd share pics of the future Lehi Pionettes!

Sarah Martin-Lone Peak High School | Utah Senior Portrait Photography

AF Canyon this time of year is just gorgeous...so when Sarah wanted to take her seniors up there, I was more than delighted! Have I mentioned that I LOVE shooting Seniors? I'm sure I have...but I have to say it again...I LOVE SENIORS! I love the attitude, style, and energy that teenagers bring. I love the fact that they know what they want, and work it out every single time. Sarah was no different. She is super involved in her school as part of the Senior Cabinet and she worked it in front of the camera. She even brought her guitar to the shoot, which I LOVED. I couldn't decide on my favorites since there were so many, so here's a few to start...It was great to meet you Sarah! You are amazing and you will go so far in life! Have an awesome senior year girl!!!

Sasser Family | Utah Family Photography

Here's the Sasser bunch (minus their eldest son who is on a mission...whoot! whoot!). I love this family--they are my awesome neighbors and I'm glad they asked me to take their photos this year. They are just the cutest family with gorgeous kids. My daughter even says she wishes she has blonde hair and blue eyes just like the Sasser girls. ( I have to remind her that's quite a impossibility since she has the asian blood and all, well, I guess if you really wanted to you can dye your hair and bust out some blue contacts, but that would just be too wierd). Hammond Family | Utah Family Photography

It's always great to see families I have photographed before come back for some MORE! It's amazing how fast kids grow...the last time I had seen the Hammond family was when their youngest was just a newborn baby! The Hammonds are such an adorable family. I have to say my absolute favorite from the session is on the image below to the right. I love love love it.

Wedding Album

I finally got the wedding album in for Aubrie & Colby and couldn't be happier about how it turned out! I love these albums...couldn't say enough about them. They chose a white leather cover for their custom album and it is a 10x10 size. I get so giddy inside when Mr. Mailman comes knocking on my door with a photography surprise...today's surprise was THIS!
